| Some facts about OBHC! | ||
The Hockey Club is one of three sports clubs (along with Rugby and Cricket) which make up the Old Bristolian Sports Club which is affiliated to Bristol Grammar school.
The Hockey Club has had a mens team for over 50 years and a Ladies side was formed over 20 years ago. The Club now runs 10 Senior teams, 5 Ladies and 5 Mens. League matches are mainly on a Saturday. The teams play in Leagues around the Bristol area. Although away games can take the sides as far as Swansea or Bournemouth. A mixed side plays on Sunday mornings. The Club has a thriving Junior section. A number of players now regularly play for the Senior teams as well as representing the County and West Region. |
